Prayer Shawl Ministry: A prayer shawl is a simple shawl created with love and prayer to
be given to someone in need. Our hope is anyone who is in need of prayer, hope and
comfort may have a shawl and will know that the people of Lord of Life Lutheran
Church are praying for them. When a shawl has been finished it will be brought to
the church, taken to the alter and blessed. When a shawl is given out it will have a
brief prayer attached to it. YOU CAN BE A PART OF THIS MINISTRY! Donations of
yarn can be made, it take 3 skeins of yarn to make one shawl. You can use your talent
at knitting or crocheting - simple patterns are available at the church. We have
volunteers who are willing to share their talents if you want to learn to knit or crochet
and work/teaching meetings are scheduled each month, check the upcoming
events/announcement for the date and time. Please call the church
at 393-0700 for more information.
TOPS: Take Off Pounds Sensibly meets on Saturdays at 8 to 8:30 for weigh in
and 8:30 to 9 for meetings. Low cost and high support! The first meeting is free.
For more information, please email Twila at ktschmitt@rap.midco.net

Fair Trade Coffee and Chocolate: Fresh coffee is available for purchase on the
fourth Sunday of each month after the 8:00 service. We have a variety of roasts
and blends of coffee. We also have milk chocolate candy bars. The chocolate
and the blends of coffee are available for sale after the second service.
Fair Trade Coffee & Chocolate helps support coffee and cocoa bean
farmers get "fair prices" for their crops. If you have any questions, or you
want to purchase some coffee or chocolate you may call Candy Wehrle @ 431-1481.
